HCPC

HCPC are the regulator for health care professionals, and was set up to protect the public. To do this, the HCPC keep a Register of health and care professionals who meet the standards for their training, professional skills, behaviour and health.

Royal College of OT

The Royal College of OT is the professional body for occupational therapy in the UK. It is committed to promoting the unique value and benefits of occupational therapy to the public, service commissioners and political representatives and sets professional standards and ethics for occupational therapy practice.

COT SS – Children, Young People and Families (CYPF)

Children, Young People and Families is a Specialist Section of College of Occupational therapy. It promotes the unique benefits of occupational therapy as a means of enabling children, young people, and their families and offers professional support and resources for therapists working in this specialised area.

COT SS – Independent Practice

COTSS-IP is the College of Occupational Therapists’ specialist section for independent practitioners. They are a membership organisation for occupational therapists working in the independent sector.

British Association of Bobath Trained Therapists

The British Association of Bobath Trained Therapists is a Special Interest group for therapists who have a specialist interest in cerebral palsy and have specialist training in neurodevelopmental therapy. It offers support and ongoing professional development.
